Taken during a brief break in the rain today just before sunset at Portsdown Hill. My first outing with the camera this year.......and the first for nearly five months. Nothing spectacular, but I was determined to post something!!

Keith Burton club has replied to Bruce Dean (Puchinpa… clubI know what you mean about not picking up the camera for a long time. We sometimes just need those breaks. For whatever reason. The nice thing is that when we DO pick it up again, we discover that our photography skills are like riding a bike, and how delightful it is to take a lovely image like this, after all that time away! :) (For myself, I took some pictures of our fire-damaged hillside and was so happy to discover the same thing...we still "have it"!) YAY!!
It's lovely to see your photography again, and I'm so glad that we didn't lose touch--glad to have FB to keep up with friends when I haven't been active!
