The little church in the middle of a field.......

.......otherwise known as St Hubert's Chapel. Over the past 6 months or so I've been finding it difficult to manage the weight of my D3, so reluctantly I've traded it in (together with a few other bits of kit I don't use much) for a mint condition D700. I seriously considered getting rid of all my kit and going down the M4/3 route, but couldn't bear to be without my Nikon cameras and lenses. As part of the PX deal I acquired a mint Nikon 105mm f2.8 VR Micro lens, and a mint condition Nikon R1C1 close up speedlight commander kit as well. Today was the first time I've been able to get out and test the camera, so we popped out to our favourite photogenic church to take a few shots before the sun went in. These three were the ones I liked best...............

Good for you to replace your camera with one which is more comfortable for you to use. If you're not comfortable, you won't use it, so you did the right thing! I can't wait to see what you do with that Micro lens! And you have a macro flash too?! FABULOUS!!! That's going to be such fun!!
