We have a similar quay at Newhaven, just at the edge of the South Downs National Park. The industrial can look striking against the rolling Downs when the light is right. Unfortunately the angle one can shoot the view from gives a rather lop-sided image when moved from the location to the screen. You have been able to concentrate on the industrial and have got a good view of a rather more compact set-up than we have.

Thanks Phil. Not been out to Newhaven for years, I must try and get round to it next year! I like photos which involve the natural and industrial landscapes - sometimes beautiful, sometimes ugly, sometimes a bit of both!

Glad you like it Diane.................this place is about a 10 min drive from my house and just the place to visit with the camera if you only have an hour or so to kill. It's already in that group you mentioned.
