Vintage Mattel Francie and Friends 1966

Mattel created Francie back in 1966. She is Barbie's Mod cousin and her wardrobe is filled with wonderful mod fashions. She also has some very pretty fashions. She stands a little under 11inches tall and is made of plastic and soft vinyl. She has rooted hair that you can brush. I'm just a little crazy about Francie.

Francie in Variation Summer Frost (1967) Rare Store display Francie is wearing a somewhat rare variation of Summer Frost. I got this on eBay several months ago and was disappointed that it was a bit dingy. Finally I decided to soak it in some Twin Pines Perk with added Boost to hopefully whiten it up. I think it turned out pretty nice and the pink didn't fade. I love Twin Pines products. This is one of my very favorite Francie fashions and one of my favorite Francie dolls.
