Wild World

This week in SSC:
"Take a photo of a subject or place that reminds you of good memories"
Wow, there were so many things to choose from this week that I had a hard time choosing. I finally settled on this one, but we have to go in my Time Machine for it. ;-)
My "subject" is this album that hangs on the wall in our TV/Music room. When I look at it, it always brings back good memories. We have to go all the way back to when I was in high school. My two favorite teachers (who were dating each other at the time) took me to a Cat Stevens concert for my 17th birthday. The show opened with a magic act and was a non-stop evening of amazing music. I will always cherish this memory of his music and my 2 favorite teachers who were truly wonderful people.
Here's one of the songs he played in concert:

Live habe ich ihn in der DDR nie erlebt

She became a rather famous belly dancer and instructor after she moved to Colorado: www.youtube.com/results?search_query=suzanna+del+vecchio

I tried to find it but no joy.
Karen's Place club has replied to Andy Rodker clubI also loved the movie "Harold and Maude" and his soundtrack that he did to it. He was an artist in every sense.
Is this the animated song your were thinking of?: www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0awe6OJB0o

Congratulations on Explore!
Thank you for posting to Sight and Sound : Pictures & Music
Karen's Place club has replied to Roger Bennion clubRoger Bennion club has replied to Karen's Place clubIt was at the time of The Berlin Wall, and not easy to get in Eastern Germany. He paid 100 Mark (a lot of money in this years !) .... and I listened to the songs again and again. So much time is gone ... and Cat Stevens changed back to Cat Stevens after so many, many years ....
Karen's Place club has replied to Heidiho club5 minutes of joy and nostalgia!
I was told, when I first saw this - big screen somewhere in the South of France - late 70s, that Cat Stevens was also the animator! I had believed this all my life and I see now that I was mistaken! Nevertheless it doesn't detract from the film or music one iota!
Have a good week and thank you again!

Karen's Place club has replied to Ecobird clubThis album seems to be hit with fellow Ipernians. :D
Cat Stevens habe ich damals auch sehr häufig gehört und nun eine aktuelle CD von ihm erworben;
Deine Geschichte kann ich gut verstehen, sehr schön dargestellt, Karen!
