SSC and Sight and Sound

This week's SSC challenge from Sami: ~Use the edge of a photo to cut the main subject in half~

This challenge was more difficult than it sounded. It was fun to play around with though and I learned a new technique that I'd never consciously tried before. I will probably use it in the future. I like it. This is an antique bowl and pitcher set from my grandparents (another pic in note.)

Very good composition =) I am a fan of ambient light myself, but I suggest trying to adjust the white balance a little.

Ich finde auch, das war eine sehr schwierige Challenge diese Woche, Karen.
... noch nie habe ich so viele verschiedene Dinge ausprobiert - die dann aber irgendwie alle nicht funktionierten. Die Aufgabe klingt so einfach - die Realisierung war teuflisch.
HIER mag ich den Effekt der Offenblende, die geringe Tiefenschärfe.
Die Konzentration auf das Muster des Kruges - und das kleine Bokeh im Hintergrund.
