This is an old photo I took up at Mt. Rainier National Park a few years ago. It reminds me of some lyrics in this song:

"Ain't going back to Barton Hollow
Devil gonna follow me e'er I go
Won't do me no good washing in the river
Can't no preacher man save my soul"

A lovely and faved shot. New music for me.......yep, like this lots and lots and lots! A superb combination for 'Soundtrack to Life'. I will shortly be checking out Amazon for some 'The Civil Wars' music to add to my collection :-) Thank you for posting, Karen. If you are quick you can be #1000 and I can then be #1001 :-)

Oh, I'm so glad you like it Roger. I can't get enough of these two lately. Sadly, they have broken up, but fortunately they have left us some great music.

Now, I was going to let someone else post the 1000th song, but I posted one just for you since you suggested it and I think you might like it. Congrats to you and Mick on creating this fun and happy group.

After I had commented I read that they had permanently parted ways. That is very sad but, as you say, we still have their great music. I was delighted you accepted my invitation to post number 1,000, Karen :-) And, it is a gem of a choice. I regularly listen to their "Raising Sand" album :-) And, thanks so very much from Mick and I for complimenting our Group :-)
