Apparently male American crows are slightly larger than females, so chances are that that is a man-splainer on the right. :)

No, I stand by my original comment. The one on the left only appears small due to the verbal tirade being meted out by his other half. He is desperately trying to make himself invisible. Doubtless he committed some monumentally heinous crime - like forgot to switch the dishwasher on before bed. Or something equally unforgivable. Of which he will be reminded at appropriate junctures. :-)
