Broken light bulb

I found a twenty-year-old flashlight in a drawer today and put fresh
batteries in it. They didn't turn on the light so I looked closely at the
bulb and discovered the filament had burnt out. I liked the look of the
bulb, so I haven't thrown it out yet.
