Moon rising over the hill across the Arm last night

This is a tiny fragment, a tiny file, too, because I simply rushed the jpeg through. I did take a raw file that perhaps I'll work up sometime. . . but I like the jpeg anyway.
The trees are 300 or 400 metres from our back deck. To take this picture, I jammed the camera up against the corner of the house. Rather than meter the moon separately (or assume sunlit brightness), I used the cameras's semi-spot-meter and dialed it down five stops. That worked fairly well for my purpose. I expect that, if I had lowered the ISO, I'd have more detail. But I might have had more shake. It's all sixes, as the man said.
