Eight years ago

Eight years ago, this store was still rehabilitatable -- if that's the
right word, but not rehabitable as if someone was going to move in.
Its decline could have been caught then and repairs made to keep it
sturdy. Sadly, the building wasn't needed right away and, over the
years since, it has just gotten worse and worse.
I took this picture in May 2006 on Reala film in my then-healthy
Olympus XA. That XA died eventually and was replaced by a sequence of
other XAs. I was too lazy today to rescan the film but I didn't like
the colour and contrast of the scan I had. And it wasn't a very sharp
picture to begin with. I ended up putting the picture through a
green-blue filter to get this b&w version.
