Bird Songs

Bird Songs
Chris Moore’s sculpture Bird Songs is an oversized gramophone, a symbol of a forgotten era, slowly sinking into the earth and taking with it the song of birds that are lost to New Zealand’s forests forever.
Chris specialises in metalwork, blacksmithing and bronze casting. His forged steel and bronze work appears throughout New Zealand and overseas in NZ Sculpture OnShore, Sculpture on the Peninsula, Shapeshifter and Sculpture in the Gardens 2011/12.
