The more I look at this, the more I think this might be a portrait of a courtesan. Many apologies to the lady if she wasn't but the yellow partlet is odd - unless she was a courtesan playing by the rules. The curls on the side of her head are also odd. The dress is a dark green that doesn't come through in the picture.
