I happened across this fabulous exhibition of orchids at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery in Washington DC in the spring of 2019. I took the photos with my aged iPhone, so the resolution is not great and much of the experience of texture is lost, but I still love the shapes and colors!
