I like this one because there is so much movement and so many lines, it's almost visually confusing, in a way that makes me keep looking.

Good! The background photo of the quarry was already really interesting.
I think I usually work in this order, anyway for this one I did:
1. Looking for shape and pattern similarities, including cutting possibilities.
2. Choosing color similarities and contrasts.
3. Checking subject matter and mood. A lot of tries get rejected because they are either too clichéd or just plain confusing; I guess I am looking for something in between.
