On the date I moved in (7/20/91). Things have changed. Just a bit.

Never planned to live in a field. I always thought I'd buy a house on a stream, with mature trees. Didn't seem to work out that way.
Our house originally lived in Grand Ledge. About a year before I bought the place, the previous owners hired a truck, moved it ten or so miles, and plopped it in a field. As I understand the plan, they intended that their daughter inherit the house, but that fell through and they put the place up for sale.
There were neighbors across the road in 1991, but there would be no nearby houses on the west side of the street for another year. Now they've built a subdivision beside and behind us, and we own a corner home. Such is the world.
