Holding Back the Lake

Huntington Dam, on the Wabash near Huntington, Indiana. The lake is currrently named for former congressman J. Edward Roush, but may have been Huntington Reservoir when I shot the pic in 1993 (Yahoo Maps still calls it that, I see). Roush had some history as a conservationist, including a stint with the EPA after losing his congressional seat to Dan Quayle.

There's reportedly good fishing below the dam (there were certainly fishermen there when we visited), and the recreation area around the lake seems to be well-reviewed.
