Manhole Cover

I never left the yard for my 366 Snaps shot a year ago. Once again I was playing with the morning's high-contrast light, with the usual mixed results.

I began with the trellis shadows, then on to other shadows (fence rails, mostly). Then I shot several pix of the field south of town, from our yard. This is a photo I shoot regularly--and always I decide the resulting image is too busy to publish. Happened again this time.

The manhole cover? Well, it's a manhole cover....
