The Juvie

That house I mentioned yesterday is one block away from the Kalamazoo County Juvenile Home. The Juvie's been rebuilt--twice--since I lived nearby, though, and looks nothing like the building I remember.
The neighborhood kids were kind of in awe of the place, and of the inmates.
==========
The 366 Snaps photo is a cropped and heavily-processed pic of a park bench on the Borgess Hospital grounds. I think it's a better image in color; mayhap I'll post that version later today. (Done!)
I'm pretty sure the park bench is the first photo I processed mostly using Bibble's built-in controls (as I've mentioned before, I'd been using the Andrea plugin for most processing). I'd do things differently today, but it worked OK for a first try.
This was the day my FB friends who didn't know my sister was hospitalized realized I was taking daily pictures at a medical facility in a town far from my home. Some of them asked about it.

This photograph is an outtake from my 2012 photo-a-day project, 366 Snaps.
