Birdseed

One aspect of the self-imposed "change cameras every month" edict was that in about half of the months I'd find myself (re)learning the controls and quirks of the new device. In some instances--both Fujis, this Olympus, the Androids--the adaptation period took several days. This unfamiliarity sometimes interacted badly with my (also self-imposed) 15-photo "daily limit"....
Last June 4 I had a definite idea for a 366 Snaps photograph--do something with Joan's brand-new tomato cages--and caught a useful image with my first shot. The next three photos, also of the cages, were less successful. I then wandered the yard mostly shooting pix of the flower beds. These were uniformly badly framed, and poorly focused. Not my most interesting photo session, I'm afraid.
Then I filled the bird feeders, and took this photo of the birdseed on the pedestal feeder. I'm publishing it in color because, well, it's better in color.
My Facebook friends may recognize this pic, as I used it for my cover photo a year ago today.
==========
This photograph is an outtake from my 2012 photo-a-day project, 366 Snaps.
Number of project photos taken: 13
Title of "roll:" Around Home
Other photos taken on 6/4/2012: Roses and peonies and poppies--of such was the Daily Flower Census composed. The folder contains a few pix I'd shot the day before as Joan got the veggies in shape.
