Trees Along the Drive

This one's a personal favorite. Things sometimes work out really well.
I've mentioned once or twice that when there's fog, fog tends to become my subject. Thus this photograph.
Incidentally, you've seen this farmyard's drive before.
==========
My photo plan for last April 18 was a photograph of Delta Mills, a "city" founded by rather ambitious people in the 1840s but which was eclipsed by nearby Lansing when the state capitol settled there. It once was a successful mill town, but nowadays it's just a little settlement north and west of the city.
Delta Mills' downtown's got an old church, an old general store/post office, a relatively new school, and a handful houses. I got a few pix, any of which would have served my purpose, but I went with an old barn that's across the river and down the road. I also took a few pix on the way to and from the townsite.
==========
Lesson: Even a sorry--and damaged--camera can take excellent photographs.
==========
This photograph is an outtake from my 2012 photo-a-day project, 366 Snaps.
Number of project photos taken: 27
Title of "roll:" Here and There
Other photos taken on 4/18/2012: I also managed 26 shots for the daily flower census, using the V1. Then that camera and I hied off to Mount Pleasant to record the MSU Spartans lopsided victory over the CMU Chips--with 1413(!) photographs. Insane, I tell you. Insane.
