Aplectrum hyemale (Putty-root orchid)

A friend who lives nearby in the same town, told me that she had an orchid blooming in her yard, and asked if I wanted to come see it. Of course I said, "Yes!". It is Aplectrum hyemale or Putty-root orchid. How neat it is to have orchids growing in your yard!
