Spiranthes orchid species -- probably Spiranthes cernua


Yesterday, my friend Jim Petranka told me about a Blue Ridge Parkway site he and his wife Becky had seen on their way back home. He said there were hundrds of flowering plants there, but I had to see them for myself. He was right! Quite a wonderful population of Spiranthes orchids..
