Cephalanthera austiniae (Phantom orchid)


During the two days of field trips at this year's Native Orchid Conference symposium, we visited two sites in Plumas County, California for the strange and beautiful Phantom orchid. On a previous NOC field trip several years ago, we had seen a couple of plants of this species, but they did not compare to the ones we saw at Meadow Valley in Plumas County...
