King Edward VIII


The only portrait of Edward VIII (well, there wasn't much time was there?) hangs in the annex to the courtroom on HQS Wellington, the floating livery hall of the Honourable Company of Master Mariners. The royal family borrowed it in order to have a copy made and there is some question as to whether it was the original or the copy that was returned...
