Didn't she have enough?

She just kept on filling her beak. You'd have thought she'd go back to her chicks and fed them then come back for more. She couldn't have fitted anymore worms in her beak anyway!!!!

How CUTE! How wonderful! It was grand to imagine you moving around with the wormies wiggling up to the surface, only to be rudely YANKED from their holes or where they were wriggling and snapped up by Mrs. Robin! :D (well she looks like a robin anyway)
Thank you for the fun story, I just loved it. Here in the US we have red-breasted robins and right now they are running around our meadows fairly regularly. What fun to want them. They go run-run-run-run-run...STOP! Peck-peck-peck...GOBBLE! LOOK AROUND! And then repeat from the start! :D It's hilarious when there are a dozen doing the very same drill! Let's just be happy that we aren't wormies! :D And you, Jenny, are so CUTE I just LOVE IT! *runs over and attacks you with a big hug and a peck on the cheek*
Thank you for the lovely comments on my green pictures! :) Oh it's just so nice the you, Ron, and so many prefer the first PiP and I am very delighted that I got the chance to show that older picture for more people to see. It is one of my very favorite images, and it was taken with my old point and shoot super zoom! :) It's proof that you can get stellar pictures with a non DSLR and shows that it's who's behind the camera more than the camera itself. :) It helped me to stop hating all of my older pictures and recognize that just because I couldn't get proper bokeh with that camera and perhaps the resolution and ISO sucked comparatively, but when the conditions were right--and that happened A LOT--the pictures were equally wonderful as those taken with a DSLR. :)
You asked me what plant. Well, you wouldn't know it though the leave might be similar to many you have seen. It comes from a wild plant called a Corn Lily (wait till you see the blossoms!)...I'll link you a search on my stream so you can see pictures. Lovely flowers, AMAZING leaves, it's a super plant with tall stalks that flowers very late in spring and summer and likes to live in wet places.
All of these pictures were taken with my older camera!

Hee hee...yes, my personality is dramatically different in person. I worry about that sometimes because if I ever meet anyone from online in person, they will be surprised and I think very disappointed. But then again, Steve says it's all in my mind and I am quite a lot like my online persona, it's only that *I* don't think so. Truthfully, perhaps I am thinking about how I behave in a group of strangers. I'm a clam. But with one or two people that I know, I am plenty boisterous and outgoing. I am shy at first usually though. Also, I won't compete with big talkers. Steve loves to talk, so I just don't talk when he's got the stage...and he's very engaging so what usually happens is that he and the other person/people blab away and I rarely say anything unless directly spoken to. Then again, maybe I'm not right about that...I can certainly blab along with the best when I get going! :) Then I feel bad because I went on so long, lol!
Thank you for sharing about your experiences getting to ipernity. It's been fun getting here...I began at Flickr and then came over here for the same reason as you...the snail's pace of Flickr is just horrible. It's not great here either, esp since they changed hands, but it's home and it's grand. The community is wonderful and we get to know one another like a family, instead of on Flickr, just one cow in a sea of bovines. Not what I want. My whole style is to know few but to know them at least better and sometimes, well! And yes...the translate buttons is one of the most important things about ipernity. It is a bit annoying sometimes that the majority of users speak another language but who cares when their comments and writing are easily translated?! :) Perhaps it's not all perfect English but you get the main idea. And there's something very cool about this place. I love it. It's family. And finally, the quality of images...yeah, I agree, there are some world-class photographers here, and there is a range all the way to brand new beginner. Everyone is made to feel welcome here. Park the attitudes at the door or get out. That's something I really love...the peacocks don't like ipernity because there aren't enough people to strut in front of, and from what I see, attitudes aren't welcome-- I don't see them anyway -- I guess they are all over at 500 PX or whatever that place is. My feeling is that no matter how experienced you are as a photographer, there is always more to learn and anyone who puts themselves on a pedestal can just take a long walk off a short pier. I cannot stand arrogance! And it's just not here at ipernity...at least I don't see it. :)
Ok, enough jibber jabber! :D *big hugs my dear* :)
Jenny McIntyre club has replied to Janet Brien clubYes I enjoy it here in Ipernity - it is slow as you say - but at least it's here and I've made some brilliant friends. I see some incredible photos and it's very heart warming to have comments about my photos from people who take amazing photos (just like you). It certainly encourages me to take more pictures and to experiment. Your comments and encouragement are so welcome - thank you so much sweetie. x
