I've lived here 60 years and have never been able to see the river before - I think someone must have chopped down a tree or something.

Yes the more I think about it John, I do believe they've chopped more than one tree, I can see the quayside edge and there used to be a lot of trees lining that - they're not there anymore.

Oh wow - to see the Pacific Ocean from your own home - fantastic. The Atlantic Ocean is about 3 miles from me, so when you see local photos of the sea and beaches near me - that's the Atlantic!!!

Your photos are so wonderful to look at and to admire, that I only speak as I find. I don't say false comments - I really do love your pictures
