The triangles of the rocks

The triangles of the rocks
This is such a wonderful place - it must have been an incredible upheaval of land to form the cliffs with their strange strata and also to move the land so rocky outcrops like the above fall into the sea. Great to be here when there is a storm, and if it's at sunset - all the better!

Oh my, this really is beautiful!! I can hear the roar from the crashing waves. I do love standing in places like this, drinking in the view and considering just how small and fragile we are. The ocean is so powerful. These rocks are a fine trio, and bear closer investigation to see if there are any interesting life clinging to them, or within the holes and crevices!

Oh there are lots of things clinging to those rocks, some teens have chosen to build their nests on the rocks (stupidly I feel ) because when there are high winds, the waves lash that part of the coast. There are also a lot of greenery and small plants which thrive in those circumstances.
