Very nice, typical of the area.

Oh very typical - this is just at the top of my road - not even half a mile away.

This is a typical Devon country road Gracie - only room for one car at a time - lots of passing places thankfully

When my daughter & her friend went to Ireland a couple of years ago, they drove all over themselves. She did find it a bit disconcerting as the roads were, from her description, much like this.. Not what we're used at all. Though the traffic is something you'd probably not be used to either.. Our highways can be a true nightmare..

I've driven in cities before Gracie, and I must admit it's not something that I've enjoyed at all. It was okay when I has an automatic car, but now I've got a manual one, it's something that I hate - having to keep changing gears. It also helps if you know the road and where you are going.

Yes a manual tranny is fine if you're not doing traffic.. More fun and better power and ability.. But as you said not fun to drive in the city.. My daughter loves driving manual but where we work, our route can be ridiculous with the traffic.. 8 miles can take a couple of hours..
