It's a beautiful region! (My wife was born not far from here).
The sun at your back and a gray or black sky on the horizon is always very favorable for taking a beautiful photo!!!

........Et la température qui, ce jour là de juin, sur les hauts plateaux du Velay était très frisquette!
Peut-être la Bête rodait-elle encore dans ces sombres forêts sur les hauteurs du village!!!.....
