Je suppose que les gens devaient beaucoup fréquenter cette jolie chapelle au 15e siècle.
Aujourd'hui, à part quelques touristes de passage, seules les vaches pieuses y vont régulièrement. Combien sont-elles ? De moins en moins certainement.
Le diocèse essaie de convertir les taupes mais ce n'est pas facile.

Et sur l’autre rive de la Sarthe, on voit la "fontaine miraculeuse", à l’endroit ou jaillit la source qui étancha la soif de saint Céneri et de son disciple... D'après la légende, son eau aurait des propriétés curatives, elle soignerait dit-on certaines maladies des yeux.
J'adore ces légendes, il y en a plein par ici.
