j'allais le dire, quel honneur, j'adore ces bus anglais, souvent transformés en crêperie, par ici, on en a vu un transformé en boutique de vêtements ! bon week-end

En fait, le magasin d'optique était en travaux: la boutique fut donc transférée dans ce bus!!!!!
C'était la grande attraction de la petite ville!!!!

I was surprised to see this Nouchet! I haven't been to London for a very long time, but I see a red double-decker travelling through our village every week day, bringing school children home. I think it may be a little newer than this one though ;-)

These old buses have been bought and restored by collectors, communities or associations. This one was rented by the optical store until it was no longer under construction. I couldn't miss it because it was right in front of the building where my mom lives (94)!!!!!

An excellent pair of shots of the London bus Nouchet! Reminds me of a film called I think, Summer Holiday from the early sixties. It was about a group of people who went to France on such a bus;-))

C'est marrant de voir un tel bus immatriculé en France...Il doit attirer l'attention dans ce village du Doubs. Et combien coûte le ticket Valdahon-Londres ?;-)))

En fait, c'est une société publicitaire qui loue ces anciens bus londoniens. En l'occurrence à un magasin d'optique en travaux. Les ventes de lunettes se faisant donc dans le bus!!!!!!
Quant au prix du billet, aucune idée!!!!!!! La ligne est directe, aucun changement mais 900 km à 50 kmh, aïe aïe!!!!!!!

Wow. This takes me back. When I was a student I rented a room in Barnes and took this bus route almost everyday to go to classes in South Kensington. What a very pleasant surprise to see it here!

Quand j’étais étudiant, je louais une chambre à Barnes et je prenais cette ligne presque tous les jours pour aller en cours à South Kensington. Quelle très agréable surprise de le voir ici!
