new windbreak!

I received permission from the Historic District Commission to replace my temporary gate & tarp windbreaks with permanent fence. HDC regulations don't allow fence higher than 4' unless you get special permission. These panels are 6', and look SO much better!

I'm learning how to glaze windows! This was a broken pane in my barn; I ordered a new pane and Neil showed me how to set it in place with putty, called glazing. I think I did a pretty good job.

yankee ingenuity in action

I couldn't pull the fence tight enough with my hands, so I devised a fence puller out of a length of copper pipe and some pieces of chain I found hanging around the barn. Hooked them up to Reputa and shazam! My fence is lookin' pretty tight now.
