Clearing out some of the unwanted trees along the side of the pasture. It's good to know someone with a chainsaw! I spent most of a day lopping the branches off these trees and hauling them up back to make a new brush pile. The trees will be cut up for firewood. They aren't much, but a BTU is a BTU.

The trees along the sides of the pasture have slowly been creeping in over the years. They need to be cut back to keep the pasture open.

We still have the fickle month of March to get through before spring really sets in, but with the wacky weather we've had this winter, it may just come a bit early.
