New kitteh! She was a stray/feral cat with a litter of kittens. Sad, because she's not even a year old herself. Vet puts her at about 8 months old. Definitely malnourished, but we'll fatten her up.

I've grown bored with the game camera and decided to do some drive by "shooting". We've seen plenty of deer, but they're coming out at near dark, which makes for some difficult shooting situations. This one was out early, looking for her 15 minutes of fame.

A mature red deer stag (?) from a nearby farm. At first glance, I thought that was velvet hanging from his antlers. Imagine my shock when I realized it was a huge mess of bailing twine! I pity the fool who has to remove this tangled mess.
