Five years ago I moved to the new place during a horrendous blizzard. Despite being hyper careful about transporting my tender houseplants, all my Christmas Cactus suffered from the shock of the bitter cold, and all of my plants lost most of their stems right down to the quick. It's taken this long for this particular plant to recover and finally bloom.
