The picture still has something of my little finger on the top left corner for it was forbidden to take pictures inside and there were lots of surveillance cameras everywhere, you see they still have all the crystals and silver apparels on the tables and furniture.

Yes, they had a lot of it, it is said that during the hunting season Him and his many friends (32, it seems) spent some weeks there… so you can imagine and hear all of them bragging about . . . that last shot . . .

Non ! tu n'a pas besoin de le dire….
En 1979 I brought from Switzerland where I worked at the time deus casseroles et une poêle which, to me, mechanical engineer where very well conceived: outside copper and inside Inox !
Le problème c'est que l'exérieur devient horrible s'il n'est pas nettoyé et poli à fond après chaque utilisation . . .donc pas d'empoisonnement du à l'oxyde de cuivre (le vert) mais pour la ménager (moi) un enfer … pas du à l'empoisonnement mais du à l'idée de ce qui m'attend . . . après.
Je cite:
Le cuivre est un des composants de nombreuses protéines de l'organisme; la quasi-totalité du cuivre de l'organisme est fixée à des protéines. Les ions cuivre non liés (libres) sont toxiques. Des mécanismes génétiques contrôlent l'incorporation du cuivre dans les apoprotéines ainsi que les processus qui empêchent l'accumulation toxique du cuivre dans le corps. Le cuivre absorbé en excès par rapport aux besoins métaboliques est éliminé dans la bile.

Yes, it seems he was one great shot and with his friends the partrige was very much appreciated.

I'm not a queen obviously :-) but I've always been fond of copper and I've got quite a collection of these utensils in my kitchen...BUT, I must say I've never used them for cooking ,absolutely preferring inox ;-)
