Les espèces de poissons qu'ils cherchent se nourissent de préference vers la levée du jour et ils doivent être sur place à ce moment là pour les rencontrer. Dès lors vers 10 ou 11 heures du matin ils sont de retour avec leurs petits bateaux. Et la plupart d'entre eux sont déjà trop vieux ou incapacites pour la pêche lointaine dans les grands chalutiers.
