I took this from the bus window, because I was struck but its outstanding ugliness and clashing incongruity. It was only later that I discovered it was the winner of the 2013 Carbuncle Cup.

Stephen George & Partners say: "Our architecture aims to touch the individual and lift the quality of our lives." A worthy aim, but one which they have clearly failed to achieve. Buildings like this seriously lower the quality of our lives. Architect please hang yourself.
