Not to my knowledge. But there is, I understand, and old smithy building somewhere in the boatyard which is doomed.

Generally speaking, the proposal has its merits, certainly compared with some of the alternatives, but I'd like it better if that "warehouse" (cafe) building were smaller, and ideally had a (1st floor level) wooden gallery over the water.

I think you are referring to the old forge on the far right.



The "warehouse" building (community centre) IS over the water.
The new boatyard will be underneath.

It's middling. It would look better with an external gallery and with narrower windows.

Is that a swing bridge?

It's a lift bridge. I think that will cause some hold-ups for boaters and pedestrians.
