Tanks in Iran
1946 AP Wire photo. It's supposed to be two Russian tanks in Iran. A T-34 and an M-4 Sherman from the lend-lease program. The photo is a complete fabrication and I'm not sure if it was the result of a poor transmission of the original image ... or just filling a need from a description of the event, but in in any case there is a lot of creative painting in his one.

The bogie wheels on the Sherman are completely wrong.
