Hey, this was one of the most interesting, funniest challenges I ever took part !
This week I visited christmas markets, observed traffic in the city, went out during rain and cold .....
and could not stop taking such crazy captures. With and without ND-filter, playing with different exposure times, movement vertical, horizontal, diagonal und circular. I failed a lot - but now I mean:
I found a new hobby ! .... I will start a new album. ICM. Collecting some of the craziest results of this challenge. And I will continue ...

Ja, danke Uli. Du merkst schon: ich bin immer noch sehr begeistert von dieser (für mich) total neuen Methode. Ich habe mir die Bilder in den Beispielportalen (s. Link auf der SSC- Diskussionsseite) angeschaut, auch die Sachen von diesem Chris Friel. Und: die Gruppe ICM bei Flickr. ICM scheint ja ein unglaublich "weites Feld" zu sein .... so ziemlich alles ist möglich, Hauptsache Verfremdung, von abstrakt bis abstrus .... also irgendwie eine ganz neue Weltsicht (zumindest für mich).

So - jetzt hab ich den richtigen ND-Filter geordet (mit 1000facher Belichtungszeitverlängerung) - DAS wird ein Spaß !

Die meisten Ergebnisse sehen schrecklich aus, aber das ist bei der Technik anfangs wohl bei allen so.

Nee, leider nicht.
Auf meinem Graufilter steht NDX4; bin mit der entsprechenden Umrechnungstabelle für die Belichtungszeiten losgezogen - und habe mich gewundert, daß alles total überbelichtet war.
Habe dann alles "frei Schnauze" geknipst. Und finde jetzt bei Wikipedia, daß der Filter nur eine Abdunklung von 0,6 hat ... also eine Verdopplung der normalen Belichtungszeit bedeutet.
Vielleicht kann mir das jemand, der sich auskennt, mal erklären ....
Jedenfalls brauche ich jetzt einen RICHTIG starken Filter .... gut, daß Weihnachten kommt ....

Toll, die verfremdetete Version ist viel schöner als das Original mit den braven Häuschen;-) Auf dein Album bin ich wirklich schon gespannt!
Und jetzt muss ich mich mal verstärkt durch die diversen Filtersysteme wühlen;-) Erschwerend kommt bei mir dazu, dass ich gerne ein neues UWW hätte (Irix 15mm/f 2,4), das ein 95(!) mm Filtergewinde hat....
