This photo I took in spring 2013 during a demo "Save East Side Gallery !"
What happened ?
Berlin sold a piece of communal ground to a private investor, directly beside this 2 km historical memorial (it`s the original Berlin Wall !). All actions and demos went off successless
.... last year they build a terrible multistorey building directtly between river Spree and the gallery.
.... expensive ground, directly in the city, with expensive luxury flats,
may be for sold for some Hollywood stars ?
