hot summer - dreaming of a bright, glittery, sparkly bokeh

The Sunday Challenge (9 August `15)
Bright/glittery/sparkly - the kind of bokeh background which is man made possibly with shapes included. You know the kind you make by placing a cutout in front of the lens.

3 days, 3 cameras, 2 empty batteries, 300 shots later:
bokeh NEVER will be my hobby !!!

PiP (right): my most surprising result .... to make an attempt with "cutout in front of the lens"

... na ja, immerhin was gelernt (auch wenn`s 3 Tage Stocherns im Nebel gebraucht hat):
der Abstand zwischen Objekt und Lichtquelle macht die Größe des Bokehs.

thank you so much for giving me support in the last days.

This challenge remembers me in the "panning-action":
needs a lot of days, a lot of mishaps - but when Sunday was gone ..... I/we got a flash of inspiration ....

Diese Frösche stehen seit Jahren auf meinem Balkon herum; mir fehlte bisher immer ein Anlaß, Ihnen eine Hauptrolle zukommen zu lassen. Für diese Bokeh-Aktion bei 40 Grad kamen sie mir wie gerufen ... über`s Thema selbst müßten wir uns vielleicht mal vor Ort
(Oktober !? November ?!) unterhalten.

An Beleuchtung von hinten sollte es an beiden Terminen nicht mangeln ....

Mußte schon wieder arbeiten ?

Dank Dir, Katja - vor allem für Deine aufbauenden Worte im Vorfeld.

Die schwerste Aufgabe in den letzten 3 Tagen hatte allerdings mein Mann;
der mußte sich ständig mein Gemaule anhören und meine schlechte Laune mit Langmut ertragen
(ich glaub`, er ist einfach nur erleichtert, daß dieser Sonntag jetzt überstanden ist ).

Ich find`s übrigens schön, daß Du jetzt auch regelmäßig bei TSC mitmachst.
Hab` schon so viel Aha-Effekte hier gehabt ...

I love the one in the note with all the sparkle. The one with the cut out is also very nice, but to get the right effect you should focus on the flowers not the cutout which has to be right up against the lens.

This Sunday challenges are a good school to become a better photographer.
Show your own possibilities. Do you remember ? I mean, you are absolute right. -
Some of my photos here in IP never would exist without TSC.
Because of a strange topic or an unknown photographic technique or processing.
