Red-Spotted Purple Butterfly

Just moments ago, I came home from church and found this Red-Spotted Purple butterfly (they're in the Admiral family of butterflies.) flying around my front yard. There wasn't a mark on him anywhere. The reason I think that was the case is he kept landing and spreading out his wings. I think he was newly hatched and was letting his wings dry. He certainly gave me plenty of time to move up close and get some good shots. This image isn't cropped.
