I got this little Sony digital pocket camera for Christmas. And that's why it was bought for me - because I always carry a little point and shoot camera in my pocket for pictures that just pop up out of nowhere or where I don't want to be seen using my big camera I'm carrying.

It is a nice form factor... I have a little p&s as well. I don't actually own a DSLR, just a few film SLRs and RFs, so everything I do in digital is p&s or my olympus ultra-zoom. I have taken many pictures with a compact P&S that are as good as anything I've taken with a "fancy" camera.
