Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W710
A little point and shoot Sony digital I got for Christmas.

I got this little Sony digital pocket camera for Christmas. And that's why it was bought for me - because I always carry a little point and shoot camera in my pocket for pictures that just pop up out of nowhere or where I don't want to be seen using my big camera I'm carrying.
Thanks, Carla.

This little 4 inch metal car belonged to my late mother. Taken with my Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W710 that I got for Christmas.
Downtown
The heart of Norris City, where I live. With only 1100 residents, there's not much to the town - about a 2-block radius of businesses in the downtown area.
Taking Photographs and Taking Notes
This is me taking notes for one of my shots down in Bell Smith Springs, part of the Shawnee National Forest. Taken by my sister Karla, using my little Sony Cybershot digital camera. Her camera had quit, so I loaned her one of my spares I had with me that day. I NEVER leave home without at least three cameras with me. That's for when I don't plan on taking any photos. When I'm going out to take pictures, I'll take several more with me in that event.

Crawling With Ants
A closeup of a dandelion flower, and you can see that there are lots of tiny little ants all over it. Taken on May 21st, 2014 with my Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W710 digital point and shoot camera.
Clouds
Some interesting looking clouds I saw late last year. Taken on October 24th, 2014 with my Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W710 digital point and shoot camera.
Cobra
A Cobra Stinger Driver faces off with a Cobra Officer. Taken on November 4th, 2014 with my Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W710 digital point and shoot camera.
In Bloom
My strawberries are doing great this year, and in fact, I saw the first bloom today, on March 29th, 2016.
Lizard
A lizard I shot in Florida a couple years back. The lizard was practically all I had time to see because I drove there on a Saturday and came back on Sunday. It was out in front of the hotel I stayed out, a Best Western Plus motel.
Leaves Of Grass
Autumn leaves from a few years back. Taken on October 27th, 2016 with my little point and shoot Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W710 digital camera. I carry it in my pocket everywhere I go. It makes a good back-up camera.

A recent picture of me, taken by my late friend Margie. She used my little Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W710 digital point and shoot camera. Also notice my Littlest Pet Shop disposable over to the left of me. I must have been shooting with it that day. Taken on December 1st, 2017.
BLT
While on tour with a band I used to be in, this is what I had to eat before a show we played in Birmingham, Alabama. It was a BLT on marbled rye bread. Taken on June 11th, 2015, with my Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W710.
Pay Attention!
Follow along:
These are canned chunks of white chicken.
The bigger cans on the left, the ones that say 28% more cost $3.50 and hold 12.5 ounces of product.
The smaller cans on the right cost $2.00 and hold 10 ounces of chicken.
The ones that are emblazoned with "28% MORE" scream for your attention.
But if you look closer, you will see that the cans with more in them also cost you more - .28 cents per ounce.
The cans on the right cost you only .20 cents per ounce.
If you were to buy two cans from the right at the cost of $4.00, that would give you many more ounces, 20 ounces, compared to the cans on the left that will cost you almost $4.00, but only have a total of 12.5 ounces.
Stores are hoping that the cans marked "28% MORE" will draw your attention and blind you to the fact that you're actually getting less for your money.
How stupid do they think we are?
You're not falling for these tactics, are you? I certainly hope not.
This kind of nonsense can not continue forever. Something's got to give sooner or later. When that happens, and it will happen, will you be prepared with a backup plan for you and your family?
A Toyoda This Is, Yes

I saw this cute sticker on the back of this vehicle parked in front of the grocery store yesterday. See the insert at the bottom left and it'll help to get the joke and why I laughed. It was so funny. Taken on May 6th, 2022 with my Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W710 point and shoot digital camera.
A funny tie-in with the Star Wars universe.
On The Road (Again)
Somewhere in Northern Illinois while on the road touring with an old band I used to be in. Another pit stop to fill up on gas and food and then hit the road again.
Taken on June 5th, 2015, with my Sony DSC-W710 digital point and shoot camera.
Butt Rub Blues

This sign is hanging by the deli counter at my local market. They grow a lot of pork and beef around this area and this market sells a lot of fresh, "home grown" meat.
