Very nice composition, and nice colour in the leaves too! They do make a nice pattern round the base of the tree.

Such a nice image. Something like this inspired poet Robert Frost to write: (He writes it under "October" - but so what November is a part of falling leaves)

O hushed October morning mild,

Many thanks Keith, someone will have to rake these up now, although latest thinking is to them rot in situ, better in the compost bin methinks.

I put mine in the compost bin (or in the council's garden waste recycling system), but one of my neighbours seals his up in black plastic bags.........by the summer they have rotted down and he makes a hole in the bottom of the bags and pours out liquid fertiliser..! A good idea, but too much bother for me :-))
