A few months ago I had to replace the main computer and have only recently got around to loading my images from the back up and that's when I realised how many unused images I had. I therefore intend to tidy them up and post some, probably every Monday,
The first offering is a shot of Eilean Donan Castle from autumn 2017,

The castle sits at the confluence of of three lochs, Loch Alsh, Loch Duice and Loch Long and was connected to mainland by a footbridge early in the 20th century.

Large for the detail please.

I love your perspective here Roger. I have a couple of images of this place on IP, but I never found this viewpoint.

The beautiful diffused light has brought out the beginnings of the autumn colours in the landscape. The castle is well placed in the frame and nicely detailed. I love the calm waters too. The misty mountain makes a lovely backdrop.

I have found this viewpoint on one occasion in 1983 and did take a photo in torrential rain. I still printed it large and you make me want to search for it. looking at this photo must feel like a finding a little lost gem, I love it.

I have failed to find the photo so far. I must have discarded the very dark print but I will still have the original slide. The trees were much lower in my photo from memory. i will find it tomorrow.

Not found so far -two slide boxes found and scanned but some missing - the search continues but they may be in the wrong box - A bit disappointing. I will post some tomorrow - Kyle - Cullins etc.
