Terrific textures and nicely detailed Roger, I have just looked the Manor up and I must say there is some great photography to be had there. I was wondering if in the past there was an addition to the ball on top of the post.

Thank you Maurice, I worked in the manor back in the sixties when it was still a private house and well remember the beautiful minstrels gallery in the main hall.

I like the colour of the lichen and textures in the stone...........and the line of ivy creeping it's way upwards. The light is lovely and the gatepost looks good against the green background.
